Ballad songs are musical form that are considered old that have existed for many decades and many writers have wrote many of it. Some ballads are in written form but many are also in oral form. It was passed from generation to generation until the time that ballad are now usually written. It form an important part in the time of 13th century in the country of Spain and Italy in their literary written tradition.

Ballad is a kind of song that tell a story. The story can be funny, romantic or dramatic. It can be found in many music styles or types like rock n’ roll and country music. Ballad can be like a poem but it says more stories than a poem as it can give a complete picture of what is happening in the story. In the 15th century it takes a little twist as it was used to give advice having the purpose to share wisdom on the one who reads.
